Lovely sounds.

One day a couple years ago while logging onto myspace, one of those ads for a myspace artist that they're trying to hype (usually some TRL garbage or 3oh3) caught my eye. Maybe it was the name of the band, more likely the profile picture. At any rate, it's the one band that myspace has successfully introduced me to that I wouldn't otherwise have heard about. It makes me wonder what else there is left to discover.

I'm in love with this. Completely captivated.

This is what I'm doing.

I'm about a week into my one month late new years resolution to take and post one photograph every day. I've actually not been so inspired, motivated, or excited for something like I am for this project for a long time. Check it out, and then join me and make your own!

Not dark yet

I swear to God, this man records images straight from my dreams. From the depths of my mind, from the memories I struggle with all my strength and heart to hold close to me. This is my aspiration. This is my inspiration.

I can't let go. I can't forget. To forget is to lose what makes us ourselves. Who would we be without these images, without the echo of a life once lived?
Six years has felt like an eternity.

I desperately want to just put this all behind me.
Move on. Please, move on.

Christine Shank

When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment.
I told them they didn't understand life.
